Meet Our Team

Robert Robinson
Health & Safety Manager
Robert has 27 years’ experience in the Mining industry holding Health, Safety & Training positions for over 18 years.
Robert’s role with Roc-Drill is to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory legislation, and the implementation of ongoing training and development to form multi-skilled workforces which are flexible to undertake various job requirements.
Robert holds multiple Diplomas in Management, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Business, Project Management, and Training and Assessment.
Megan Taylor
Accounts Manager
Megan’s early career began in the insurance and finance industry specialising in the commercial sector. Over the past 9 years she has gained practical experience in running a successful family business. Megan has further enriched her financial knowledge by working with a bookkeeping company as a bookkeeper/office manager. Her areas of financial expertise were in trades, professionals, real estate, wineries and mining businesses. Megan assisted these businesses with high level bookkeeping, budgets, BAS, end of year reconciliations and financial management reporting.
She holds a current Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and is a member of the ICB.
Scott Sewell
Maintenance Manager
Scott has 7 plus years experience in the mining industry both surface and underground. He worked for Atlas Copco Mining & Rock Excavation for 6 years as a Field service technician, Workshop supervisor and Service Manager. With the growth of Roc-Drill, he joined the team as Maintenance Manager in 2013.
With his positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards proactive maintenance, Scott has enabled Roc-Drill’s fleet to meet and maintain contractual KPI’s and minimise unplanned downtime through constant review of systems and identifying opportunities for improvement. Scott has attended multiple equipment and supervisor courses during his time within the industry.
Our Strengths
Each operator is individually assessed and a report developed on their performance. To be deemed competent, Roc-Drill operators need to be able to work within the drilling team and meet safety, equipment and production targets. Training and competency assessment is ongoing.
